*Time has been set back one year to adjust for House of Yudah's membership into the UN in 1949 CE. Originally I had the time set at 1948 CE when they became a nation, but I see now that they did not put themselves under the Babylonian king’s thumb until 1949 CE. In Yirmiyah 25:12 and Daniy'Yah 9:2, YaHVeH has established a 70 year time line for the king of Babylon to be destroyed.
1 Corinthians: 13:12: For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
YaHVeH's Chodesh can be 29 and 30 days long.
Scripture is taken from KJV and edited to remove blasphemous names (Rev. 17:3), words and titles and to give a more Iybriy/Hebrew rooted understanding; edited also because the "Mother of Harlots" has inserted these names to cover up the names of YaHVeH/יהוה and HIS Ben Yahvshua/יהושׁוּע, and to counterfeit a Babylonian Greco-Roman "god", "lord" "Jesus" "Christ"…etc. and promote its demonic idolatrous pagan customs and "holidays" by replacing YaHVeH's Sabbaths and Calendar (Dan. 7:25).
The sighting of the new Chodesh has been a long and complicated issue for me. So much has happen since the time of creation and the destruction of the 1st Heykal/Temple and captivity of both House of Yisrael and the House of Yahudah, and what has happen after the Babylonian captivity and the Yahudiym returning back to the Promised Land. One camp says it’s the dark moon that establishes the new Chodesh; another camp says it’s the first sliver of the moon; another camp only determines it by mathematical calculation, so you don’t know who to believe. Believe me I have looked into the scriptures and looked up the Iybriy/Hebrew and there has been no description of the sliver of the moon or mathematical calculation saying this is how it is determined! All I can go by is what I believe, remember and understand in what my Rabbi Yahvshua said that is recorded in the Messianic Writings, the books of Mosheh, T’hiyliym/Psalm and the Nebiyiym/Prophets (Luke 24:44); and that the foundation the Body of Yahvshua is founded on: the emissaries, nebiyiym and Yahvshua ha`Mashiyach the chief corner stone (Eph. 2:20).
Now I don’t believe for one minute just because the ancient children of Yisrael was an agricultural society, that they were too stupid to do math, or look up in the night shamayim and observe the stars and planets; and by observing them that doesn’t mean obedient Yisrael were worshiping them. This was one of the most important responsibilities of the Leviy kohen-hood. If you have been walking in the truth and studying it for any length of time you know that Adam, Chanok/Enoch, Abraham, Yitschaq and Ya’akob and many other obedient believers before Mosheh were taught orally by their elders. It was through the night shamayim that the ancients learned of YaHVeH’s plan of deliverance for mankind. It was the disobedient/pagan/Gentile that perverted the plan of deliverance through the night shamayim. Remember the magi, who came to see Yahvshua the Iybriy from the tribe of Yahudah of the root of David Mashiyach (Rev. 5:5); they observed the night shamayim (Mat. 2:1). The Chaldean/Kasdiymah also worshiped the planets and stars (corruption and perversion of the truth). Where did the Chaldean and Magos/Magi receive the idea to observe the night shamayim? Well, it was what the Word of YaHVeH first taught Adam about HIS plan to deliver him and those after him because of their disobedience (B`reshiyth/Gen. 3) Adam taught it to his children orally and they passed it down to their children, by the time of the flood the truth had been so corrupted and perverted it became a counterfeit of the truth (B`reshiyth 6:12), much like it has become today through Christianity (Rev. 12:9; 13:11; Mat. 24:5; 13:25), Judaism (T`hiyliym/Psalm 35:19) and Islam (B`reshiyth 16:12; 27:40-41).

Getting back to how to sight the new Chodesh; I have looked high and low in the scriptures for a definitive verse that said this is how to begin the new Chodesh, but had yet to find it until a few weeks ago. Sense all I have to look up the Iybriy with is E-Sword, this is what I use. The word used for the Iybriy word Chodesh in the KJV is “new moon”, which when you look up new moon the “new” has been inserted by the translators, but here is E-Sword definition:
H2320
חדשׁ
chôdesh
Kho'-desh
From H2318; the new moon; by implication a month: - month (-ly), new moon.
H2318
חדשׁ
châdash
khaw-dash'
A primitive root; to be new; causatively to rebuild: - renew, repair.
Notice though no description of what the moon looks like when it is new.
This is what the Word of YaHVeH said the sun, moon and stars are to be used for:
B`reshiyth/Gen: 1:14: And ElohiymH430 said, H559 Let there beH1961 lightsH3974 in the firmamentH7549 of the shamayimH8064 to divideH914 H996 the dayH3117 fromH996 the night;H3915 and let them beH1961 for signs,H226 and for seasons,H4150 and for days,H3117 and years:H8141
Page 3
The word in Iybriy for seasons is:
H4150
מועדה מעד מועד
mô‛êd mô‛êd mô‛âdâh
Mo-ade', mo-ade', mo-aw-daw'
From H3259; properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season; specifically a festival; conventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand): - appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn (-ity), synagogue, (set) time (appointed).
H3259
יעד
yâ‛ad
yaw-ad'
A primitive root; to fix upon (by agreement or appointment); by implication to meet (at a stated time), to summon (to trial), to direct (in a certain quarter or position), to engage (for marriage): - agree, (make an) appoint (-ment, a time), assemble (selves), betroth, gather (selves, together), meet (together), set (a time).
Still no description of what the moon looks like when it is new.
After I left the WCG I began questioning everything I believed and I’m glad I did, because they were doing it wrong! Now when I first started on my quest to understand I was keeping the new moon according to what the scientific calendar indicated, but I still wasn’t sure so I started looking on other websites and read what others were doing in their observance. I finally settled on the way the Karaite’s were observing it, which was the first sliver of the new Chodesh, which appears two or three days after the zero visibility Chodesh; but I have sometimes observed when keeping the first sliver of the new Chodesh that the full ya-re-ak/moon doesn’t look totally full, especially during the fall and winter when the moon can be seen clearly due to low humidity in the air. So there was still some question whether I was observing it properly. Now none of this didn’t really get stirred up in me until a couple Chodeshiym ago when an old friend and also now fellow non-member of the WCG called me up needing some work done; he basically went through the same thing I did and was surprised to find out about the way the WCG was observing the new Chodesh as well as the postponements of the annual Shabbaths. The postponements you find out about almost immediately when you come out from under the influence of man made traditions, but the new Chodesh, that one was a lot more difficult to do until I came across theses scriptures. Notice the parts underlined:
Page 4
Yashayah/Isaiah: 13:9: Observe, the day of YaHVeH comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and HE shall destroy the sinners of it out of it.
Yashayah: 13:10: For the stars of Shamayim and the constellations of it shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Yechizkiyah/Ezekiel: 32:7: And when I shall put you out, I will cover the shamayim, and make the stars of it dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
Yahvel: 2:10: The earth shall quake before them; the shamayim shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
Yahvel: 3:15: The sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
Matith’Yah/Matthew: 24:29: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from shamayim, and the powers of the shamayim shall be shaken:
Yahvhanan Makabiy/Mark: 13:24: but in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
Mark: 13:25: And the stars of shamayim shall fall, and the powers that are in shamayim shall be shaken.
Most believers who love the truth and have been called by YaHVeH to HIS Ben Yahvshua, and have entered YaHVeH’s Shabbaths, know that HIS Shabbaths are a sign to HIM that you are HIS (Shemoth/Exodus 31:17 especially verse 13); and if you have been living according to the Covenant placed INSIDE the Ark (1 Melekiym 8:9; Rev. 11:19; 12:17; 14:12) long enough you know that the annual Shabbaths plot out YaHVeH’s plan of deliverance for HIS people (Colossians 2:16 - 17). We have already seen the first half of that plan being fulfilled in the spring moed. Yahvshua the Lamb of YaH (Yahn 1:29) in Pesach/Passover (the 14th of the 1st Chodesh) being hung on the tree/stake/pole (Yahn 3:14-15) and His blood covering our sins; Yahvshua ha`Mashiyach, the First of the first fruits being offered up as the wave sheaf offering and YaHVeH raising Him up three days and nights later; and of course this time is happening during the seven day observance of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which now we know that Yahvshua is that Unleavened Bread and Manna (Yahn 6; Galatians 3:24)! Then after that Yahvshua the wave sheaf offering (16th); then the weekly 7th day Shabbath after that we begin counting the 1st day of the week and fifty days later the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost is kept, which always falls on the 1st day of the week; YaHVeH began pouring out HIS Kodesh Ruach on Yahvshua’s limmudiym/taught ones (Yashayah 8:16) and others in Yahvshalam. When I have it posted you can read article: Shebua Feast of Weeks.
So, sense the spring moed have been fulfilled (but we still MUST enter them), next the fall moed must be fulfilled; and what is the time that begins YaHVeH’s Fall Moediym/Seasons? Zikron Teruah/Memorial Trumpets/Day of Trumpets! This time begins the 7th Chodesh; so, what has YaHVeH made to determine the beginning/first of the new Chodesh/Month? THE MOON!
Page 5
Remember in order to learn of Yahvshua ha`Mashiyach`s ways you must have that attitude of a child (Mat. 18:3). Most little children don’t know complicated math. Yahvshua also said His yoke was “easy” and His burden “light”. This means what our Rabbi Yahvshua has given us to do would not be complicated to figure out and understand (1 Cor. 1:19 – 21 all of chapter one). Also Yahvshua only spoke in parables so that the unbeliever wouldn’t understand (Mat. 13:10-11, 24-25; T`hiyliym/Psalm 78:2; Yechizkiyah/Ezekiel 17:2). So, in keeping in parable form the above verses posted on page 4 of this article reflect how the Word of YaHVeH was and is communicating with us. Sense the Spring Shabbaths/Feast have been fulfilled and I believe and I think most who call on the name of YaHVeH through HIS Ben Yahvshua believe that Zikron Teruah/“Day of Trumpets”, does determine the time our Rabbi will return, then by saying “…and the moon shall not give her light…” The Word of YaHVeH has revealed to us on how to begin all twelve and sometimes thirteen new Chodeshiym! In order to understand the time you would need to know the phases of the yareak/moon to keep track of so you would know what time you are in. Once you figured out the space of time between each phase you would understand what day in the Chodesh you were in, not to mention the fact that if you are keeping track you would be counting the days, so you would know even if the moon was not sighted, which brings me to the next issue.
Yahv`el/Yahvel/Yael/Yoel: 2:1: Blow you the shophar/trumpet in Ziyon, and sound an alarm in MY kodesh mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of YaHVeH comes, for it is near at hand;
Yahvel 2:1 is speaking about one particular day and not just any day in the Iybriy/Hebrew calendar. You need to remember that the Shophar was to be blown at the beginning of every new Chodesh (B`midbar/Num. 10:10); but what makes Yahvel 2:1 different is that it is the “the day of YaHVeH” [the KJV uses the erroneousness blasphemous Baal name “LORD”], which is a specific event that does not happen everyday and will never happen again in the context the nebiyiym are writing about.
Do the scripture say we are to sight the new Chodesh? Again I have searched the scriptures to see if there is a verse that definitively says you are to observe/behold, see, and or witness with your eyes the moon in order for it to be the new moon/Chodesh and I have not found it! Unless you have found a piece of scripture I have overlooked, there is no verse in scripture that says you are to see the new yareak/moon/Chodesh to determine that a new month begins; and the only definitive pieces of scripture that does say, it is written in parable form so that it is hidden from those outside the Body of Yahvshua/Truth.
By understanding that the new Chodesh is determined by the dark/unseen/zero visibility moon, each month can last 29 or 30 days.
Page 6
I believe that the verses above on page 4 clearly are telling us when to start the new Chodesh/Month.

Yahvel: 2:30: And I will show wonders in the shamayim and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
Yahvel: 2:31: The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of YaHVeH come.
These events in Yahvel 2:30-31 precede “the day of YaHVeH”, which mean they happen in the 6th Chodeshiym, the days just before the 7th Chodeshiym begin. In these verses you can see smoke from man made war, volcano’s erupting due to increasing frequency of earthquakes. Now remember when “the day of YaHVeH” takes place the earth is going to shake so violently that it has never shaken that way ever before:
Revelation/Raz Galah/Secrets Revealed: 16:15: Observe, I come as a thief. Baruk is he that watches, and keeps his garments, unless he walk naked, and they see his shame.
1 Thessalonians: 5:2: For yourselves know perfectly that the day of YaHVeH so comes as a thief in the night.
2 Kepha: 3:10: But the day of YaHVeH will come as a thief in the night; in which the shamayim shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
How does a thief usually come? Usually he comes at night in the dark and you don’t see him. Now, how is the dark moon seen? Well, you can’t see it because it is dark, it’s hidden and covered up like a thief, it happens at night but you know when it comes because you are watching (observing the phases of the moon T`hiyliym/Psalm 89:37) and counting the days. Remember ALMIGHTY YaHVeH ends the old day at evening and the new day at sundown when it becomes dark.
Page 7
I had another piece of information brought to my attention while looking into this matter. I was surfing the web for news events and came across a news article (Solar Eclipse) talking about a solar eclipse that was seen from the British Isles on the first day of the new moon (03/20/15); which at that time I don’t know if it was going to be an extended year with an additional 13th Chodesh, or the beginning of the New Year until the Abib report was issued. What I also didn’t know up till the original writing of this article was that a solar eclipse can only take place at new moon/dark moon/covered moon/unseen moon/zero visibility moon. Remember the new day starts at sundown and at that time it is impossible to see the moon because of its position in space. But when day light comes and at certain times in certain locations on earth the new moon will block out the sun and cause a total solar eclipse of the sun. Do you understand what this means? It is another confirmation that the dark moon/zero visibility moon is the correct way to start the Chodesh! So, when the scripture says:
Matith’Yah/Matthew: 24:29: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light…
The Word of YaHVeH/Yahvshua ha`Mashiyach is saying that there will be a solar eclipse at that time! Here is a picture of what a solar eclipse looks like:

Notice the sun is darkened and the new moon/Chodesh does not give her light!

I apologize for my back and forth on this subject, but I have been in the dark on these issues and have not grown up being taught in these important matters, I'm sure some of you suffer from the same ignorance. So I ask you not to judge me to harshly when you see a correction I make in these post. I'm not in this for my pride, ego, fame or fortune.
